Q. Do you have an overseas office?

Q. Can I ask you a question?
A. Yes, you can. We will answer enquiries from members within 48 hours be e-mail.
Q. I have been invited to the wedding of a Thai couple, what is an appropriate present?
A. Usually at a Thai wedding there is a party afterwards at which the bridal couple walk round offering a small souvenir of the occasion to each guest. In return the guests place a sealed envelope containing money on the proffered tray, no names are put on the envelopes. You can also buy virtually anything else for the couple that you think will be useful to them in their new life.
Q. Why do Thai women want to marry foreigners?
A. For various reasons. In Thailand women are regarded as second class citizens. Also many ladies believe that foreigners are more stable both emotionally and financially.

A. Yes, we can do both. All our teachers are fully licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education and all are degree holders.
Q. What is the difference between an ordinary tourist visa and a settlement visa?
A. A lot. A settlement visa gives the lady the right to live and in most cases work in your country and the onus is on the man to prove he can support and accommodate his partner. An ordinary visa has a time limit with no rights in your country and the lady must prove she can support and accommodate herself whilst there.

A. Yes, she can.
Q. I have heard it is very difficult to get a visa, is this true?
A. Generally it is not a big problem, but certain conditions have to be met.

A. No, it is not. A Registry office wedding is necessary to obtain a visa as a wife.

A. The traditional payment, or dowry, given to the parents of the bride on her marriage.
Q. I have never been to Thailand and am worried about the problems of language, culture and customs?

A. Allow four working days to process the paperwork.
